We spent the night at a hotel in Gimli, on the western shore of Lake Winnipeg. So I dipped my feet into Manitoba’s two largest lakes in one day.

When we got there in the evening it was windy and there were lovely crashing waves.

By the next morning the lake was calm, and the sun was shining.

We took a drive, a few days ago, to Steep Rock, on the eastern shore of Lake Manitoba. Although it was a rainy day, we saw the rocky cliffs and beaches.
