When it is too busy to go for a walk with my camera, it is TOO busy. But when I took a short break and walked across the yard to check the snow on the hill beside the water hole, I chanced to turn my face upward, and was blessed by this silent visitor winging away overhead.
I had to be fast with my camera. Good think I had taken it along just in case.

Hawk and Owl
Northern Hawk Owl sat in the cottonwood tree. When it flew to the taller cottonwood, it was harrassed by a Northern Harrier Hawk.
