It was a lovely clear but cold night last night to watch the lunar eclipse.
Although temperatures are around minus 30 degrees Celsius, it’s hard to resist stepping outside to catch a sight of the beautiful full moon.
These photos were taken around midnight this morning, but later tonight there will be a lunar eclipse, so I will be braving the cold again.
The ring around the moon was striking.
It was sunny yesterday, and last night it was -31*C, with windchill near -40*. But there are above 0 *C temperatures forecast for later this week.
