I saw these tall stalks with delicate pennants blowing in the frigid wind between the cottonwood trees. So fragile and beautiful in the piercing cold wintry day, -30°C.
I went out on impulse to see the full moon rise. It was cold, but I stayed there watching for half an hour just to see it rise majestically above the trees.
Walking in the snow on a sunny day is a wonder. The sparkling and glistening is continuous, like a field of diamonds. Trying to capture it on camera is a challenge.
