I get a better look at the natural world through my camera. Long walks and taking the time to look around sometimes brings to my sight a part of nature I might miss if I pass too quickly…
Lovely! Have you seen any Indian Paint Brushes lately? We used to see them in the woods where we grew up, but I think they have become much scarcer. I drove to the farm on Tuesday. Mother’s row of peonies were as magnificent as ever. I had Aunt Hermina with me; I used take Aunt Helen for a drive there a couple of times. Has your mom-in-law been to see your perennials and garden this summer?

I have not seen Indian Paintbrush for a coupe of years, but I am determined to find it this year. When I do, you’ll be the first to know.
My mother-in-law is not able to get into a car, and we would have to rent a van to bring her. We have not done that yet. Haying season is taking over.
Stunning colours. No wonder its called Firewheel.
